Infrastructure projects moving ahead in Parkersburg
A couple of project updates from Parkersburg. First, the water tower rehabilitation project will start sometime in August. The tower will need to be completely drained to perform the work, and a change order will probably be needed to cover the additional cost to keep the water pressure maintained using portable tanks being brought in to provide storage capacity.

Davenport man sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for trafficking cocaine
DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - A Davenport man was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison on July 17 for conspiracy to distribute over 500 grams of cocaine, a media release says. SIOUX CITY, Iowa – A Wright County man is going to federal prison for illegal gun possession. Michael Dean Hanus Jr., 45 of Clarion, pleaded guilty in federal court to possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
