New city of Waco landfill nearing completion as the current landfill fills up
WACO, Texas (KWTX) - The city of Waco landfill was purchased from the city of Woodway back in 1986, and after 38 years, is almost full. The city’s director of solid waste told KWTX they anticipate the existing landfill will only be in operation through 2025, which is right in time for the opening of a new landfill along FM 939 between Mount Calm and Axtell.

TxDOT contracted SLA Architects to design a new administration & training facility to be located at the existing Waco District headquarters, 100 South Loop Dr., in Waco, Texas. FEMA opens disaster recovery center in Falls County

Bruceville-Eddy under boil water notice
BRUCEVILLE-EDDY, Texas (FOX 44) – A boil water notice is in effect for the Falls County, Bruceville and Eddy areas. The City of Bruceville-Eddy Water Department said Monday morning it is notifying customers that this is due to conditions which have occurred due to a repair affecting the entire city. The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has required the system to notify all customers on the area above to boil their water prior to consumption.
