On Sunday, Mowry said his son was found on a street in Connecticut by a good Samaritan who at one time had been a runaway.

"The person convinced Cacidy to go home with him, then convinced him to go home," said Mowry. "This person drove him home to Rochester. The police knocked on our door at about 4 a.m., with Cacidy."

On the Rochester police Facebook page, it says "15-year-old Cacidy Mowry has been located and unharmed. Thank you for all the tips we received and for those that cooperated with the investigation, as well as all the other agencies, organizations and businesses that assisted Rochester Police, for your help in finding him and making sure he made it home safe."

Mowry said he also wants to thank everyone involved, all the people who offered help and well wishes. He said he knows they have a long road ahead, but they are thrilled he is safe, and they will work together as a family to get through this.
