    Canandaigua woman accused of charging $75K on boss’s credit cards

    ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A Canandaigua woman has been arrested after a defrauding investigation, according to New York State Police.

    According to NYSP, on May 9, troopers arrested 42-year-old Monique Barrette-Lewis after she was accused of spending $75,000 over a six month period on her employer’s business credit cards.

    It was alleged those payments was not connected to any legitimate business purpose and was for her own benefit.

    Troopers said Barrette-Lewis was charged with grand larceny in the second degree, grand larceny in the third degree, and scheme to defraud in the first degree.
