Sticky Lips Juke Joint in Henrietta to host antique sale Monday

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — You can get a little piece of Rochester restaurant history next week come Monday, as Sticky Lips in Henrietta will host a sale of their antiques on Monday.

The event runs from noon until 6 p.m. According to the Facebook event, all sales are cash only, adding:

“You will negotiate pricing with the owner and if you come to terms then we will consider it a sold piece. This is no bargain basement sale many years of collecting collectibles and antiques, looking for serious buyers only.”

Sticky Lips, known for its barbecue and live music at the “Juke Joint,” is also having a sale of many of their band posters.

The famed barbeque joint is closing later this month — after originally saying they would close on Father’s Day — as owner Howard Nielsen is retiring.
