    E-bike rider cited after crash with car in Rochester

    ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – A 16-year-old was injured in a crash between an electric bike and a car Thursday night in Rochester.

    It happened just before 11 p.m. at the intersection of Maple and Saxton Streets. Police said the Chevrolet sedan had a green light when it collided with the e-bike, throwing the rider to the ground.

    The teen girl was sent to Strong Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

    Police cited her for failing to yield the right-of-way and equipment violations.
