One thing that Bills Mafia knows how to do is show up in numbers for their team, and new COO Pete Guelli has taken notice.

After stopping by a practice, Guelli spoke on the passion that he noticed in the fanbase.

"The passion for this team does not go away," said Guelli. "If anything, it's intensified. When you walk onto the field and see everybody there, they're all excited to see Josh Allen and the rest of the players. I don't know if you ever get used to that, how passionate they are. I come back now and see it again and it's like, 'Wow this fan base is different.'"

Although this is Guelli's first year as the COO of the team, it is not his first year with the franchise. Before he joined the team in 2024, Guelli was with the team from 1998 to 2009, and was one of the leaders of the campaign to move the Bills' practice facility to St. John Fisher University in 2000.

Greg Connors, a founding parter of Connors & Ferris, LLP, one of the team's sponsors, spoke on Guelli and the impact he's had on the franchise.

"Having Pete here today kind of gives me goosebumps because he's the father of Bills training camp in Rochester," said Connors. "He's made Rochester relevant as it relates to the Bills for the last 20 plus years. And so, to have him back here today, it really is full circle."

Guelli may have returned to a far different Bills team than the one he left in 2009, but the goal is still the same, bringing a championship home to Bills Mafia.
