Rock n' Roll with Josh Christina returns to Mainstay stage

ROCK HALL — On Friday night, May 31 the Mainstay is thrilled to welcome the rockabilly sounds of pianist Josh Christina and his band The Revivals.

Pianist Josh Christina is a rock n’ roll trustee who puts his own original spin on Rockabilly while still staying true to its roots. He writes his own music, refurbishes the classics, and plays a mean piano with no holds barred. As one local reporter so aptly phrased it, “Think of a mix between Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley and Elton John and you’ve got Josh Christina.” His powerful and muscular approach to the piano most often draws comparisons with the iconic rock n’ roll figure Jerry Lee Lewis. One music critic remarked “I can’t remember when I’ve ever written a review where I’ve had the opportunity to compare someone to the legendary Jerry Lee Lewis — but Christina makes the grade and matches Lewis’s wildness for sure.”

Christina always promises a high energy performance for audiences of all ages.

This show is scheduled for The Mainstay’s outdoor stage, weather permitting.
