WANTED: Rockford Police identify suspect in hospital burglaries

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Police have identified an Indiana man as the suspect in burglaries at two Rockford hospitals.

According to Rockford Police, Tory Tolbert, 41, of Gary, Indiana, is still at large and is wanted on charges of Burglary, Possession of Another’s Credit Card, and Theft.

Tolbert is a suspect in a burglary that occurred at around 11 a.m. on June 21, 2024, at UW Health Swedish American Hospital, located at 209 9th Street in Rockford.

He is also believed to be involved in a burglary that occurred on June 13, 2024, at OSF Center for Health, located at 5510 East State Street in Rockford.

Tolbert may be the same man accused of similar thefts in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana.
