Motorcyclist Dead after Collision with Another Vehicle on July 20th in Peru
In a tragic incident in Peru, a motorcyclist lost their life after a collision with another vehicle on May Road, near Illinois Route 251. The accident occurred around 10:35 AM, on July 20, 2024. Emergency responders from Peru Police, Fire, and EMS were dispatched to the scene following reports of the crash involving two vehicles. Despite immediate life-saving attempts, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities, including an accident reconstructionist from the Illinois State Police, are actively investigating to determine the cause of the crash. Further details will be disclosed as the investigation progresses. The community is reminded to exercise caution while on the roads.
