Kernels fall on the road to Delano
DELANO – The Delano A’s scored 10 runs in the first two innings, and coasted to a 14-3, seven inning victory over the visiting Kernels Wednesday, June 26. Walks plagued the Cokato pitching staff. Delano only outhit the Kernels by one, 9-8, but drew 11 walks, compared to just two for Cokato.

Eden Prairie's summer is set up to be an active one with a slate of sports programs for all ages. The Maple Grove Senior Legion Post 172 is having a great summer. After losing two of three games, they responded by winning three in a row and are 8-3 before the July 4 break. On June 24, Maple Grove beat Park Center 8-1. A day later, they handled Becker 10-0 and on June 27, hung on to beat Champlin Legion 2-1. GAYLORD – The Glencoe Brewers fell to the Gaylord Islanders in a non-league tune up game on Wednesday, June 26. The Brewers took a brief early lead in the top of the second inning. With runners on first and third Oray Tangen (wait that’s me!) hit an RBI fielders choice to center field scoring Dylen Terlinden, and giving the Brewers a 1-0 lead.
