A Haitian immigrant living in a onetime Massachusetts hotel now housing asylum seekers was charged with raping a 15-year-old girl inside one of the rooms last week, according to prosecutors.

Cory Alvarez, 26, is being held without bail on a charge of aggravated rape of a child after getting busted by cops in the Boston suburb of Rockland, the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office said.

“I am absolutely appalled by the incident that took place in Rockland,” Massachusetts state Rep. David DecCoste said in a statement to the Boston Herald last week.

Mayor Adams’ ‘right to shelter’ agreement will actually make NYC’s migrant crisis worse

“Above all, my heartfelt sympathies extend to the young girl who has reportedly been subjected to abuse,” the Republican lawmaker said. “The Commonwealth has failed this young girl.”

According to prosecutors, police were called to the former Comfort Inn hotel on Hingham Street shortly after 7 p.m. on Wednesday on a report of a sexual assault.

Inside, cops found the teen victim of the assault and transported her to South Shore Hospital.

Alvarez was charged with raping the girl and pleaded not guilty at his arraignment on Thursday, where he was ordered held without bail pending a return to court on March 22.

The Comfort Inn where the assault allegedly occurred is part of a joint state and federal program to house migrants in the state who are seeking asylum in the US.

The migrant crisis, which has overwhelmed New York City and other major metropolitan areas, has sparked concerns about the potential for crime in hotels and shelters housing asylum seekers — including a migrant gang assault on two NYPD cops near Times Square in January.

In another high-profile case, Jose Antonio Ibarra, a 26-year-old Venezuelan migrant, is charged in the brutal beating death of Georgia nursing student Laken Riley , who was killed on Feb. 22 while out for a run on the campus of the University of Georgia.

Last week, Massachusetts GOP Chairwoman Amy Carnevale called the alleged rape of the 15-year-old girl “an absolute nightmare scenario.”

“I acknowledge the presence of well-intentioned and compassionate residents of Massachusetts who would like for the state to provide refuge for migrants during times of exigency,” Carnevale told the Herald.

“However, it is imperative to discern between appropriate and inappropriate methods of addressing this endeavor. The recent incident exemplifies our state’s struggle to effectively manage the migrant crisis and the influx of additional migrants may exacerbate the likelihood of such distressing occurrences.”

Federal immigration authorities have now placed a detention hold on Alvarez, the outlet reported.
