ROCKY MOUNT — A pair of Wake County men were arrested on May 23 after break-ins at two area hotels.

Christopher Hill, 28, and Cruze Parker, 31, were arrested after a storage building was compromised at the Courtyard by Marriott, in addition to an enclosed cargo trailer owned by a guest at the nearby Holiday Inn.

Hotel appliances, microwaves, mini-fridges and lamps were taken from the Courtyard’s Gateway Boulevard location, while the guest trailer — parked at 250 Enterprise Drive — was relieved of power tools.

After the Rocky Mount Police Department developed leads, detectives were dispatched to Raleigh, where a search warrant was executed at 1411-E Diggs Drive — the home of Comfy Cool HVAC.

Once inside, police say, stolen property from both Rocky Mount cases was identified.

Hill was charged with breaking and entering, larceny after a break-in and breaking and entering a motor vehicle. He was issued a $25,000 secured bond and confined in the Wake County jail.

Parker, on post-release supervision at the time of his arrest, was charged with possession of stolen goods. He was denied bond and remanded to the Wake County jail.
