Firefighters move wrecked vehicle from roadway – Highway 8 at Garrison Road
South Greenville firefighters push one of two vehicles from the roadway Friday afternoon after one struck another in the rear on Highway 8 at Garrison Road. Traffic was backed up at times for more than a mile due to the wreck. Greenville EMS also responded. A state trooper investigated the wreck. (Photo by David Rogers)

Piedmont and South Greenville firefighters extinguish hot spots following a house fire Wednesday. When firefighters arrived flames had already came through the roof of the Guest Street home. No one was injured. Greenville EMS stood by as a precaution.
