Indiana and Illinois Arby’s Locations Affected by Franchisee Bankruptcy
After filing for bankruptcy, a small Arby's franchisee is selling some locations and closing others. Miracle Restaurant Group LLC, a company based out of Louisiana has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Miracle owns 25 Arby's locations in Indiana, Illinois, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. This isn't Miracle Restaurant Group's first Chapter 11 filing according to Nation's Restaurant News,

Supreme Court Nixes Review Of Rodney Reed's Texas Death Row Case
The U.S. Supreme Court is declining a Texas Death Row inmate the chance to have his murder case reviewed. Rodney Reed was found guilty in 1998 of killing 19-year-old Stacey Stites in Bastrop. Reed's supporters claim Stites's fiancé was the killer, and say Reed was convicted as a black man accused of killing a white woman. Without comment, the Supreme Court rejected Reed's petition for a writ of certiorari, which would have ordered the trial court to deliver the case records to the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals for review.
West Nile Virus detected in mosquito trap in Taylor
AUSTIN, Texas — A mosquito pool in Taylor has returned a positive test for West Nile Virus, according to Williamson County health officials. According to the Williamson County Cities and Health District (WCCHD), the positive sample was taken from a trap site near North Drive and T.H. Johnson on July 2 and the positive test was confirmed in lab results received on July 5.

Temple Police locate missing 5-year-old allegedly abducted by non-custodial parent
TEMPLE, Texas — A 5-year-old in Temple has been found safe after allegedly being abducted by a non-custodial parent on July 6, according to the Temple Police Department. Temple PD said officers responded to the Temple Mall around 1:50 p.m., where they spoke to the child's father, who said the 5-year-old had been taken by his mother, who did not have custody.
