Oasis are definitely (maybe) getting back together . After British newspaper The Times reported on a set of possible gigs in London and Manchester in 2025, Oasis confirmed that they had a major announcement coming with a cryptic Instagram video that read “27.08.24” and the time “8 AM”, sending Britpop fans into a frenzy. Now the news is confirmed, and Oasis will officially reunite in 2025, with a set of dates in the UK and Ireland. They also teased world tour dates to follow.

Next year will mark 30 years since the release of their landmark sophomore album, (What’s The Story) Morning Glory . This week marks another anniversary for the legendary band, and that’s the release of their debut album Definitely Maybe . They’re celebrating with a reissue including a deluxe version, which you can pre-order below.

    DELUXE VINYL

    Definitely Maybe [30th Anniversary Edition]

    $74.98 pre order On Amazon

The deluxe edition of the 30th-anniversary reissue is being released on a four-LP vinyl, featuring an expanded tracklist that includes outtakes and alternative versions.

We still have a lot of questions about what an Oasis reunion could mean . The band split up in 2009 following a backstage fight between frontman Liam Gallagher and his brother, guitarist and chief songwriter Noel Gallagher. Given how often they’ve traded barbs in the press and on social media in the intervening 15 years, the biggest question is — can a truce possibly hold long enough for 2025 to get here?

The band’s debut album Definitely Maybe features the tracks “Supersonic” and “Live Forever” and sits at a very respectable 217 on Rolling Stone’s Greatest Albums of All Time List. A reissue was announced in May, and it officially hits shelves on August 30. Even if the truce holds, Oasis fans will have to wait a long time for a chance to see the band take the stage, but they can preorder the reissue of the band’s debut album now, or save it on their preferred streaming app like Spotify or Apple Music.

The deluxe edition of the reissue includes album outtakes that were originally recorded in Wales’ Monnow Valley Studios and Cornwall’s Sawmills Studios, as well as a remastered version of the album. The album will be reissued in a variety of formats, including independent record store exclusives, a 2xLP multi-color pink and white vinyl, a deluxe CD, or the deluxe 4xLP black vinyl deluxe edition.

The color vinyl variants include the 11-track remastered album. If you want the deluxe edition on vinyl, including outtakes and alternate versions, you’ll want to pre-order the 4xLP deluxe release on black vinyl .
