Summit County Fair opens this week; kids under 15 get in free 1 day
TALLMADGE, Ohio – The Summit County Fair is scheduled for July 23-28 at the fairgrounds in Tallmadge, located at 229 E. Howe Road. A family tradition since 1850, the fair offers 4-H and open-class exhibits in livestock, horticulture, floraculture, domestic arts, culinary arts and fine arts. More than 250 food and commercial vendors will be spread out across the 66-acre fairgrounds, according to event organizers.

They were rivals in the ring but friends after the show Friday as a pair of Clinton-Massie seniors-to-be took home top honors in the Warren County Fair’s Showman of Showmen competition. BATH TOWNSHIP — A mulch fire at Resource Recycling, 1596 Neubrecht Road, Lima, could keep burning for the next few days.
