18 departments respond to Resource Recycling mulch fire
BATH TOWNSHIP — A mulch fire at Resource Recycling, 1596 Neubrecht Road, Lima, could keep burning for the next few days. The Bath Township Fire Department was first to respond to it at 3:18 p.m. Sunday. A total of 18 departments from four counties came out to help, according to a statement from Bath Township Fire Chief Joe Kitchen.

It's been a year and a half since local businessman Tim Adkins bought the 27-hole Turkeyfoot Lake Golf Links that straddles New Franklin and Green. Adkins said from the start he intended to develop the nine holes situated primarily in New Franklin and retain the rest of the golf course. Kitten Rescued After Being Trapped in Electric Recycling Chair
It's the delicate rescue of a tiny, precious kitten trapped inside an electric recliner chair. Somehow the poor thing got stuck. Steward cancels auction of three Valley hospitals citing no qualified bidders
The future of three Valley hospitals operated by Steward Health Care remains cloudy after their auctions were called off. In a notice filed in bankruptcy court on Sunday, Steward revealed that it has not received qualified bids for Trumbull Regional Medical Center in Warren, Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital in Howland, and Sharon Regional Medical Center in Mercer County.
