Repairers of the Breach, an effort founded by Reverend Dr. William Barber Jr., will open an office in Roper, renting space from the town. Agreement was reached during Roper Town County’s meeting Monday evening, July 8, for space on Buncombe Street, most recently occupied by Gateway Bank and next door to the African American Museum and Cultural Arts Center.
