Pulaski County Traffic Stop Uncovers Drugs, Guns, and Kidnapping Suspect
A multi-jurisdictional investigation has unearthed evidence regarding the reported kidnapping, aggravated assault, and torture of a Searcy resident in Pulaski County. On Wednesday, during a traffic stop on Highway 67/167, authorities intercepted 33-year-old Renford Williams from Jacksonville, who had an active trafficking warrant from the Cabot Police Department. Additionally, Williams was identified as a person of interest in the aforementioned kidnapping case. During this stop, officials found around one pound of methamphetamine and approximately 1000 fentanyl-laced pills.
Couple charged for selling meth near daycare
A warrant was filed June 25 for Monte B. York, 45; and Jessica L. Long, 40, both of Heber Springs. According to the affidavit for arrest for York, he is being charged with two counts of delivery of methamphetamine, more than two grams but less than ten; and two counts of maintaining a drug premises. All four charges are Class B felonies.
