Last week, they met to receive a presentation on Ethics 2024 Training from Jeanne Cleary and Patricia Rees of the New Jersey School Board Association. The presentation focused on how members of the board can continue to conduct themselves ethically within their role and maintain public trust. Roselle Park Mayor and Council Introduces Ordinance to Lower Sewer Bill Costs
ROSELLE PARK, NJ — For Roselle Park residents upset about their sewer bill this year, Roselle Park Mayor and Council may have just ensured that it will be a one-time occurrence, as they introduced an ordinance would change the way that sewer bills are calculated at their last meeting on Thursday, July 18. This ordinance was first mentioned at last week's town hall meeting when Mayor Joseph Signorello III announced that going forward, the borough will likely calculate water usage based on the final three months of the prior year prorated out to the full year.CLICK HERE...

City of Elizabeth Announces 2024 National Night Out
ELIZABETH, NJ - Elizabeth’s National Night Out is making its annual return at 50 Winfield Scott Plaza. On every first Tuesday of August, a ‘National Night Out’ is held across the span of New Jersey. Numerous towns, including Elizabeth, will each host their own celebrations that are open to the public. Rahway PD Announces NJ Transit Suspension
RAHWAY, NJ — The Rahway Police Department announced, at approximately 5:10 p.m., on Sunday, July 21, that NJ Transit service is suspended from Newark to Metro Park due to lines down on the tracks. Union County Connects Unveil Brand New Mural in Roselle Park
ROSELLE PARK, NJ — The borough grew a little brighter recently, as Union County Connects, a 501(c)(3) charity that advocates for safer trail networks in Union County, unveiled a brand-new mural featuring a historical rendition of the Rahway Valley Railroad Engines. Painted on the Son-Rise Document Solutions building at the outskirts of the borough, the mural welcomes travelers into Roselle Park. The mural was created by a Jersey City-based street artist, known as "Distort", who has composed many murals throughout New Jersey. Union Education Assoc. to Host Annual Town-Wide Block Party
UNION, NJ - A "Town-Wide Block Party", hosted by the Union Township Education Association (UTEA), is set for Tuesday, August 13, in Rabkin Park for all Union residents.
