Residents Dazzled by Roselle Park Independence Day Fireworks Show

ROSELLE PARK, NJ — Roselle Park residents got an early start on their Independence Day celebrations as hundreds packed Herm Shaw athletic field to partake in an evening of live music, food trucks and, of course, fireworks.

When the sun began to sink down past the horizon, attendees were treated to a performance of "America the Beautiful," a ceremonial flag raising and a rendition of the national anthem.

The last note of the national anthem was punctuated by the crackle of fireworks, and the show was underway. Fireworks lit up the sky above Herm Shaw fields, dazzling the enormous crowd on Herm Shaw field and drawing an audience to the surrounding block as well, who stood in the streets or parked lawn chairs on the sidewalks to take in the spectacular views.

"Every year, our town's Independence Day Fireworks Celebration is a wonderful event that brings joy and excitement to all who attend," said Mayor Joseph Signorello III. "We are grateful to our sponsors and volunteers whose support and dedication make this celebration possible. It's always a fun time for everyone, and we look forward to another fantastic evening together."
