Following a series of updates, the Coon Rapids Police Department affirmed via Facebook that the fireworks are scheduled for 10 p.m. tonight. Residents looking to partake in the festivities are encouraged to come prepared with lawn chairs, rain gear, and the expectation of wet and potentially muddy conditions.
