Car Stolen With 2 Year-Old Girl in Backseat in Houston
Here is a reminder never leave your child in the car unattended! A mother in Houston had her car stolen with her child inside back in April. Luckily, the mother was able to track her car down using the LoJack GPS system and flagged down police. 13 Alert Traffic: 18-wheeler crash cleared after blocking multiple lanes along IH-69 NB at Weslayan
An 18-wheeler crash slowed down drivers along the IH-69 Southwest Freeway for several hours on Wednesday.The incident was reported at about 9:30 a.m. and blocked multiple northbound lanes along the freeway at Weslayan.It's unclear what led to the collision, but TranStar cameras showed the heavy truck crashed into a concrete barrier near the HOV lane, and some traffic was getting by.As of 2 p.m., crews were still working to clear the crash, and three lanes remain closed. 4 injured in crash between METRORail train and car in north Houston, HPD says
Authorities are investigating a MetroRail train crash that injured several people Wednesday morning.The Houston Police Department said the train and a car collided at about 8:30 a.m. along Fulton and Crosstimbers.According to HPD Lt. Wiggins, 15 people were on the MetroRail, three of whom went to the hospital with minor injuries.Wiggins said the train operator wasn't hurt.A man told ABC13 he saw the incident happen."I was at the washateria. I was faced down Fulton," he said. "He was face up Fulton - when I looked to his left and saw the car get smacked by the front of the train."Video from the scene shows the car involved heavily damaged. Houston police charge suspect in shooting of repossession worker on Harrisburg Boulevard; suspect remains at large
HOUSTON, Texas - Charges have been filed against a 19-year-old suspect wanted in the shooting of a man at 7900 Harrisburg Boulevard on October 9. Brandon Alexander Munoz, of Houston, Texas, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 183rd State District Court. The victim, a 40-year-old man, was transported to an area hospital in critical but stable condition, according to a press release from the Houston Police Department.
