MARSHALL WOMAN KILLED IN DODGE COUNTY ACCIDENT IDENTIFIED. Dodge County Sheriff’s officials have identified the 62-year-old Marshall woman who was killed in a single vehicle crash at County Highway A and US Highway 151 in the Town of Trenton Saturday afternoon. According to the initial investigation Lori Williams was going south on US Highway 151 and gradually entered the median. Her vehicle continued through the median, and vaulted over the northbound lane of County Highway A. The vehicle landed in the southbound lane of County Highway A and struck a concrete barrier. There was severe front-end damage to the vehicle and Williams died at the scene. The accident north of the City of Beaver Dam was reported at 1:45 Saturday afternoon.
Dodge County Sheriff Talks Recommendations For Waupun Correctional
(Juneau) Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt provided some recommendations for the Waupun Correctional Institution during a recent WBEV Community Comment program. These recommendations follow the conclusion of an investigation into the facility where four inmates died, and nine staffers were charged in connection to two of the deaths. Schmidt says if he were a member of the state legislature, he would strongly be looking at replacement.
EAA Pilot Makes Emergency Landing in Dodge County
TOWN OF HUBBARD, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A pilot leaving EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh was forced to make an emergency landing in a Dodge County field on Sunday morning. Around 8:30 Sunday morning, the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a plane that was flying low and having engine problems.
