SACRAMENTO COUNTY, Calif. — Firefighters orchestrated the water rescue of a deer Sunday morning in Sacramento County. Crews were able to safely catch a deer swimming in the canal, bring it ashore and place it in the care of Sacramento County Animal Care Services, the fire district said.
