Oregon celebrates new homes coming to city's town center
A groundbreaking ceremony Thursday celebrated new single-family homes coming to the city of Oregon’s town center. Plans call for the construction of 36 single-family, two-story homes on Town Center Boulevard, just north of PIckle Road. “This is something we’ve been waiting for for a long time,” said Mayor Mike Seferian. “We’ve been looking for this day for several years to actually get this project rolling. Ohio man arrested in Cedar City for allegedly kidnapping a California girl
CEDAR CITY — An Ohio man was found Wednesday at a Cedar City gas station with a California teen who had been reported kidnapped. Ryan Gray Patch, 27, of Ohio, was booked into the Iron County Jail on suspicion of felony charges of aggravated kidnapping, endangerment of a child, and misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana/spice and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the police affidavit.
Ohio church groups come to Clarksville, helping rebuild homes after December tornado
CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – “God tells us where he wants us to go,” said Tim Pride, group leader of the Ohio Mount Carmel Christian Church volunteers. The group has been in Clarksville for almost a week, helping members of the community who are still suffering the effects of the December 2023 tornado with some much-needed home repairs. Mount Carmel, in a joint effort with their partner, 3C Community Christian Church, took on 17 projects in the Clarksville area, bringing in over 100 volunteers to help.
