Round Rock police have arrested a third suspect three weeks after a shooting at a Juneteenth celebration on June 15 that killed two and wounded 14 others, the law enforcement agency announced Saturday night.

Keshawn Dixon, 18, was arrested in Killeen on Saturday and has been charged with deadly conduct, a third-degree felony. More charges are possible, the Round Rock Police Department said. Dixon is being held at the Bell County Jail but will be transferred to the Williamson County Jail on an unknown date, police spokesperson Melanie Forcier confirmed.

The department is pursuing other leads involving additional suspects, police said.

Ricky Thompson III, 18, a student at Manor Senior High School, and a juvenile male were arrested within days of each other, and Thompson faces one charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Police Chief Allen Banks said he had “no indication” that Thompson was a gang member. Law enforcement declined to identify the second suspect or his charges, saying only that he was under 17 years old and was being held in juvenile detention.

No murder charges have been filed, though police have not ruled out the possibility, Banks said at a news conference after Thompson's arrest.

The shooting broke out after two groups got into an altercation and pulled out guns, police have said. It killed 33-year-old Lyndsey Vicknair of Manor, an attorney at an Austin law firm and a mother of three, and Ara Duke, 54, of Pflugerville, an administrator at IDEA Public Schools who was soon to be a grandmother, their families have said.
