The superyacht sank in a severe storm in the early hours (around 5 am local time) of Monday, near Poticello, Sicily. Those missing included British billionaire Mike Lynch and his 18-year-old daughter Hannah, Morgan Stanley chairman Jonathan Bloomer; his wife, Judy Bloomer; Clifford Chance lawyer Chris Morvillo; and wife Neda Morvillo. The corpses of two people, one of whom belonged to a “heavily-built man”, were brought to shore earlier on Wednesday while the two others have been found in the vessel. Fire crews described the operation as “complex”, with divers limited to 12-minute underwater shifts. (source: the Independent)

The freak incident came to as 59-year-old Mr. Lynch, known as 'Britain's Bill Gates', was enjoying a 'victory trip' to celebrate winning his US fraud trial over the £8.3billion sale of his tech firm Autonomy to Hewlett-Packard. (according to the source the Daily Mail UK)
