Floodwaters damage homes in Albuquerque
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Video above: Residents are experiencing the aftermath of flash floods that swept parts of Albuquerque, New Mexico on Saturday, June 29. Karen Schnerch told KOAT 15 feet of floodwaters seeped through her back patio and damaged parts of her property. Another homeowner experienced 7 feet of water inside of his apartment shortly after.

Santa Fe County announces utility water service rate increase
SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Santa Fe County Public Works Department is implementing a 3.3% increase in utility water service rates. The department says the additional revenue from the price increase will be used to fund operations, maintenance and upgrades for its infrastructure. Customers will see the new rates reflected on their August bill.

Santa Fe National Forest Recreation Site Fees To Increase
SANTA FE — Beginning Spring 2025, fees for day use sites and campgrounds on the Santa Fe National Forest (SFNF) will increase. This revenue is invested into forest recreation site maintenance such as trash collection, septic and vault toilet pumping, painting, cleaning, addressing the backlog of maintenance, conducting patrols, and maintaining high-use sites.
