Melcher-Dallas Volleyball Season Opener Is August 29th
The Melcher-Dallas Volleyball schedule will see the Saints play at home for the first time in nearly three seasons. With the new gym at Melcher-Dallas now completed, the Saints can host games and not have to travel anymore. The first home match will be September 3rd against Mormon Trail. The Saints will have five home matches this fall along with the match against the other Saints, Melcher-Dallas will host Seymour on September 10th, Moravia on September 17th, Central Decatur on September 26th, and Moulton-Udell on October 10th. DCG Golf Season Begins Next Week
With fall sports on the horizon, the Dallas Center-Grimes fall golf team will begin action earlier than the volleyball and football team counterparts. The Mustang fall golf team begins the season officially tomorrow, with a golf scrimmage in Norwalk against the Warriors. This scrimmage will give the Mustangs some competition experience before the season officially begins on Monday in Ankeny at the Briarwood Club of Ankeny. The Mustangs will take on Ankeny, Ankeny Centennial, Valley, Urbandale, Indianola, Norwalk and Des Moines Roosevelt. The action begins at noon.
