    Empowering Homeless Through Choir: Acoustic Concert Aug 23, 2024

    Homelessness is a huge problem throughout the United States. Most cities have hundreds of unsheltered people living there in unhealthy conditions. They could use help, and some are being helped through music in San Diego, California.

    Voices of Our City is a nonprofit organization set up to fight against homelessness. Choir members are impacted by homelessness. They develop renewed hope and personal empowerment through their participation with the Choir.

    The vision of the Voices of Our City is to have a city where every person living on the streets has the opportunity to find joy, heal, and freely express themselves. The goal is to have people get out of homelessness for good. [https://www.voicesofourcity.org/]

    Voices of Our City Choir will perofrm an Acoustic Concert on Friday, August 23, 2024. The concert will be at 6:30 PM with doors open at 6:00 PM. The venue will be St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral at 2728 6th Avenue, San Diego.

    Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. The money supports the life-saving resources and programming of the homeless.

    Voices of Our City has impacted the lives of over 275 unsheltered people since 2017. They continue to do their good work in San Diego to help the homeless.
