Million-dollar winning scratch-off lottery ticket sold at gas station near Gettysburg
A $1 million scratch-off lottery ticket was sold in Adams County last week, according to the Pennsylvania Lottery. The million-dollar winning ticket was sold at the Royal Farms in the 1500 block of York Road in Straban Township, just outside of Gettysburg. The convenience store will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the ticket.

When most people think of librarians, they usually think of the people they see checking out books, answering questions at a desk, or presenting a program. Many don’t realize that there’s also a team of staff and volunteers working behind the scenes, ensuring that our new books can be discovered through our online catalog and on our bookshelves. Technical Services is a department located within the Adams County Library System at Gettysburg that is responsible for cataloging and processing all of the new books that are circulated at our six branches.
