MARICOPA, AZ (AZFamily) — A driver is hospitalized after a crash involving an Arizona Department of Public Safety vehicle Wednesday morning in Maricopa. Just before 6:30 a.m., a DPS sergeant was conducting a commercial vehicle inspection on State Route 347 near milepost 177 when officials say another driver slammed into the trooper’s patrol truck.
