Here's how much rain fell across the Valley last night
PHOENIX — Powerful monsoon thunderstorms swept through parts of the Valley Wednesday night, leaving behind a fair amount of moisture. Maricopa County's rainfall data shows the areas of Litchfield Park, north Glendale and south Phoenix received some of the most rainfall during Wednesday's storms. Meanwhile, parts of Tempe, Chandler and Gilbert reported little or no rainfall last night, according to the county's data.

Lightning-caused wildfire closes north Scottsdale preserve
SCOTTSDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — Crews are working to extinguish a wildfire near north Scottsdale that was caused by a lightning strike Wednesday night. The Ricky Fire is currently burning about 10 acres in the northern portion of the McDowell Sonoran Preserve, near Granite Mountain Trailhead.
