AUSTIN, Texas (KPEL News) - Hyundai vehicle owners in Texas may need to check their fuel pumps after a recall notice from the company that impacts nearly 55,000 vehicles. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the automotive company is recalling certain 2019-2023 models of Genesis G70, Veloster N, Elantra N, and Kona N because of problems with the fuel delivery system.

DALLAS, Texas — Former Texas State Representative Jim Pitts passed away shortly before midnight on July 20, 2024, at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, surrounded by his loved ones. Jim Pitts dedicated his life to public service, representing House District 10 in the Texas House of Representatives from 1993 to 2015. His district comprised Ellis County, Hill County, and a portion of Henderson County. During his tenure, he served as Chairman of Appropriations from 2005 to 2007 and from 2009 to 2015.
