TEXARKANA, Texas — A settlement has been reached in the civil trial of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. The settlement appeared to happened over the lunch break. Testimony was supposed to resume just after noon; however, attorneys for both sides were seen talking together then went into the judge's chambers.

Dallas Police Arrest 25-Year-Old Iyanna Wells in Connection with Fatal Shooting on Bruton Road
A fatal shooting in the 9800 block of Bruton Road in Dallas has led to the arrest of a 25-year-old suspect. The incident, which occurred on Sunday evening, resulted in the death of 44-year-old Keeman Bowens. City of Mesquite gives storm debris update
The second sweep to collect storm debris and bulk items began last weekend and is currently picking up from north to south within the city limits. The city reported that trash collection is set to return to normal in early August. Until normal operations resume, solid waste will not accept special requests for pick-ups. The city's total storm debris collection is at 9,500 tons.
