    Sacramento deputies arrest 23-year-old murder suspect, sheriff’s office says

    (FOX40.COM) — The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said it has arrested a man accused of killing another man in south Sacramento about one month ago.

    Deputies said Denisho Collins, 23, was recently arrested as a suspect in the homicide case of 31-year-old Sherman Gage, who was found on the ground near I Parkway and Forest Parkway around 4:30 a.m. on June 17 with gunshot wounds.

    After interviewing witnesses and collecting evidence, Collins was identified as a suspect. When he was arrested, deputies said they found him with a loaded gun.

    Collins was taken to the Sacramento County Main Jail and booked into custody for murder. His bail is set at $50,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court on July 18.
