(FOX40.COM) — The Sacramento Police Department has arrested two men from Sacramento after they were identified as those responsible for a fatal shooting in the Greenhaven neighborhood on April 29.

Police said 24-year-old Taquez Foster-Worsham of Sacramento and 28-year-old Jamar Anderson of Sacramento were arrested on July 10 and July 17, respectively. Both men are facing robbery and homicide charges.

On April 29, around 3 a.m., Sacramento police officers said they were recalled to Riverside Boulevard after it was reported that a man had been shot. Upon arrival, officers found a man with at least one gunshot wound, attempted to provide medical aid, and the man was taken to the hospital.

While in the hospital, medical staff reported that he had died from his injuries.

Police didn’t state where Foster-Worsham was arrested, but did say that Anderson was arrested in Indio, about 25 miles southeast of Palm Springs in Southern California.

“Our investigators have been relentless in helping the family in this case find justice,” Sacramento police said.
