Moment plane narrowly misses golfer while crashing caught on camera

This is the dramatic moment a plane crashed at a golf course - narrowly missing a golfer.

The plane, a single-engine Piper PA-28, went down at the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex near Sacramento on Sunday (Aug 4) at around 1:15 p.m. PT.

CCTV shows a man preparing to hit a ball as the small plane hits the ground and skids across the putting green - just meters away from the golfer.

According to the Sacramento Fire Department , the pilot suffered minor injuries and was able to walk away from the incident.

The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board have launched an investigation.
