A somber investigation unfolds in the River District as Sacramento Police Department detectives probe the death of a woman found unresponsive near the homeless services nonprofit Loaves & Fishes. The chilling discovery was made earlier morning following a report of a disturbance. As detailed by KCRA, the police were called around 6 a.m. and were met with the grim scene upon their arrival on North C Street on North 12th Street. The woman was declared dead at the location, spurring a homicide investigation.
