Samford golfer to play in 124th U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship
TULSA, Okla. (WIAT) — Samford golfer Gabi Nicastro is slated to play in the 124th U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship this week. The reigning Southern Conference Freshman of the Year qualified for the event by claiming the 92nd Alabama Women’s State Amateur Championship in June. Nicastro will compete against over 150 golfers from 30 states and 17 countries at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
