Some Jefferson County restaurants used unique methods to store meat and poultry last month. One establishment used a trash bag. Another used a grocery bag. 12-year-old boy injured in west Birmingham when father’s argument with another man leads to gunfire
A 12-year-old boy was injured when he was caught in crossfire at a west Birmingham home. The shooting happened just before 6:30 p.m. Saturday. The boy is expected to recover. Officer Truman Fitzgerald said West Precinct officers were dispatched to the 4900 block of Avenue Q in the Central Park neighborhood on a report of a person shot.
