FLORA CELEBRATING FOURTH OF JULY WITH EVENTS TOMORROW
Area residents are in for a day filled with excitement as Charley Brown Park in Flora plays host to a series of events tomorrow. Kicking off the day at 9 am, the highly anticipated Global War on Terror Wall of Remembrance will make its debut behind the Rotary Stage. Arriving in town under the escort of the Illinois Patriot Guard, the Wall stands as a symbol of Honor, Strength, Courage, Commitment, Loyalty, and Family Values of America, serving as a stark reminder of the sacrifices made for freedom.
Global War on Terror Wall of Remembrance in Flora for 4th of July
The Global War on Terror Wall of Remembrance will be on display in Charlie Brown Park in Flora for the Fourth of July. After spending the night in Kinmundy, the wall led by police, fire, ambulance, Freedom Riders, and a Gold Star Mother left just before noon for Louisville and then south into Flora.
