Man arrested in South Burlington on aggravated assault, kidnapping, and burglary charges
SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - One person is in custody tonight after an incident in South Burlington. At around 7:45 p.m. Monday night, there was a large police presence at 218 Hannaford Drive, as police investigated a disturbance. One man was taken into custody on an unrelated aggravated domestic assault charge when they were warned that another man, Shannon Edwards of Montpelier, was threatening others with a knife in a nearby wooded area.
