Double shooting kills 1 in Cahokia Heights
CAHOKIA HEIGHTS, Ill. (First Alert 4) - One person is dead after a double shooting Friday in Cahokia Heights. The shooting happened just before 1 p.m. on Judith Lane in Cahokia Heights. According to Cahokia Heights police, both victims were men. First Alert 4 is working to gather more information.
Chesterfield woman dies after crash on Pocahontas Parkway
HENRICO, Va. (WWBT) - A 53-year-old Chesterfield woman died Thursday afternoon after a single-vehicle crash on Pocahontas Parkway. “A 2003 Dodge Dakota was heading eastbound on Route 896 (Pocahontas Parkway) when it went off the left side of the road, struck a guardrail, overturned, and came to rest in the westbound lanes,” Virginia State Police said Friday.

Construction to start later this year on $14M trail connecting CityPark to Midtown
ST. LOUIS — Construction is expected to begin later this year on a stretch of the Brickline Greenway that connects with St. Louis City SC’s CityPark stadium. The project includes a new 0.85-mile trail along Market Street from Compton Avenue and 22nd Street, connecting CityPark and Harris-Stowe State University. Arnold man arrested after allegedly trying to destroy meth
A 31-year-old Arnold man was arrested after allegedly trying to destroy suspected methamphetamine after a car he was traveling in was stopped by Arnold Police. The driver, a 41-year-old Barnhart man, also was arrested because he was wanted by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office for five misdemeanor warrants, police reported.
