Zion Lutheran Church to host 10th annual Grace Day
The Jefferson County Lutheran Churches group will hold its 10th annual Grace Day on Saturday, Aug. 3, at Zion Lutheran Church, 9700 Zion Lutheran Church Road, in Hillsboro. The event, which will be held from 8 a.m. to noon, is aimed at helping families with children in kindergarten through grade 12 as they get ready to start a new school year.

SLU Hospital nurses ratify new contract
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Saint Louis University Hospital nurses ratified a new three-year contract Saturday after more than a year of negotiations and two strikes. According to the National Nurses Organizing Committee/National Nurses United, the contract includes safe staffing provisions, health and safety language, no contract takeaways and economic gains and health benefit provisions.
