Second COP House Planned for St. Cloud’s Southeast Side
ST. CLOUD (WJON News) -- The plan to create St. Cloud's second Community Outpost is moving forward. On Monday night the city council is expected to approve a renovation agreement for the city-owned building at 10-10 Park in southeast St. Cloud. The city has received a $475,000 grant from the United States Department of Justice.
Authorities Looking for Missing St. Cloud Teenager
ST. CLOUD (WJON News) -- The Stearns County Sheriff's Office at the St. Cloud Police Department are asking for your help in finding a missing teenager. Sixteen-year-old Grisedia Gomez was last seen in St. Cloud on May 25th. She is a Hispanic girl, 5'4" tall, 200 pounds, with black hair, and brown eyes, and her front teeth are framed in gold.

ST. CLOUD (WJON News) -- St. Cloud residents are choosing a new mayor during this election season. Council member Carol Lewis is among the six candidates running for the job. Lewis served on the St. Cloud Area School Board for two terms and has been on the city council for three terms. She says she running for mayor because it feels like a natural progression.

ST. CLOUD (WJON News) -- The St. Cloud City Council will discuss the future on the Stearns County Justice Center during its meeting on Monday night. Council member George Hontos has asked for a discussion on a resolution stating the city council's support for keeping the jail and court services downtown.
St. Cloud man accused of pointing loaded gun teens
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – A St. Cloud man is facing felony assault charges for allegedly pointing a loaded handgun at two teenagers Sunday night. The criminal complaint says 41-year-old Corey Self initially pointed a green laser at the 14 and 17 year olds from an apartment window. The kids told police that when they approached the window and asked Self to stop, he opened the blinds and pointed a handgun at them.
