1 fatally struck by car on South Side, Chicago police say
A person was struck and killed by a car on the South Side Monday morning, Chicago police said.A 22-year-old man was driving north in the 11500-block of Vincennes Avenue when police said he felt his vehicle hit something on the road.ABC7 Chicago is now streaming 24/7. The foundation invites applications for its Seeding the Future Grants, which support efforts that accelerate change in conditions and systems transformation through coalition and base building, grassroots advocacy, civic engagement, community organizing, and public policy development/change. Funding will be awarded to bolster organizational and civic infrastructure expansion, advance of public policies, and/or support efforts impacting systems transformation through an intergenerational approach for the improved health and wellness of people in eastern Missouri and southern Illinois. The grant is designed to cultivate a partnership pipeline for the Movement Transformation Cohort.
