MMA fighter, St. Charles native Jena Bishop preps for huge PFL fight

FOX 2 NEWS — Jena Bishop is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu specialist with a black belt in the discipline. She’s also an International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation World Champion.

Now, the St. Charles native looks to add to her list of accomplishments in fighting.

A professional MMA fighter, Jena has had a terrific first season as a flyweight in the Professional Fighters League. She’s grappled to the league’s semifinals and will meet undefeated Dakota Ditcheva for a chance to fight for a million-dollar grand prize.

The fight is in Nashville on August 2nd. You can watch the fight on ESPN+.
